Ludwig Left Out

Ludwig Ahgren, a popular streamer and content creator, has been significantly absent from the Twitch Recap for 2021. While he understands the decision, the former Twitch star who just departed the platform for YouTube expressed his disappointment on Twitter, saying, “it’s still sad to be erased from so many people’s year.”

Ludwig had quickly grown to become one of Twitch’s top streamers before making the switch to YouTube Gaming. Ludwig garnered 3.1 million followers on Twitch during his time there and soon developed a devoted fan base. Since he held his month-long sub-a-thon, as well as multiple IRL events in partnership with other streamers, this year has been extremely memorable for the 26-year-old streamer.

Ludwig was only a few weeks ago the newest streamer to join the ranks of YouTube live streaming. Despite the fact that he was a huge creator on his prior network, Twitch has mostly tried to remove his presence in its yearly recap. This year’s Twitch recap is intended to capture each viewer’s specific numbers and experiences from the previous year on Twitch. This annual review usually contains the most popular categories, emotes, and broadcasters.

Despite the fact that many fans were disappointed by Ludwig’s exclusion, the streamer himself took a neutral stance on the situation. Ludwig may still be found on YouTube, both streaming and routinely generating videos for the video content platform, despite several bans on his new platform.
