Lost Ark and Ironmouse Overall Viewership

February is traditionally a low month for all content platforms because there are three less days than January, resulting in a significant drop in total viewing in terms of hours.

Twitch’s total monthly hours fell below two billion for the first time this month, albeit it was still greater than November or December 2021. According to Rainmaker, StreamElements’ analytics partner, Facebook Gaming saw a considerably more apparent reduction, falling far short of its January high of 600 million hours viewed. Twitch did have some interesting audience stats in February, with the platform’s first Vtuber being among the platform’s top ten creators.

Ironmouse completed a subathon that lasted almost the entire month of February, putting her in the top ten Twitch streams, with around seven million total hours viewed. She was also the first woman on the network to gain 100,000 subscribers, making her one of the most popular channels of all time. XQc maintained his Twitch throne, raking in more than 20 million hours of viewing time. He did, however, face stiff competition in the form of Asmongold, who returned from a four-month hiatus to take second place on the strength of Lost Ark.

In the streaming world, Amazon Games’ latest release, Lost Ark, exceeded Just Chatting’s 257 million hours watched across all of Twitch, with 143 million hours watched. Despite only releasing on February 25, Elden Ring made it into the top ten, capturing the eighth slot over Fortnite and Dota 2 with 57 million hours viewed.
