Drew Binuesa Donates $3000 Worth Of Toys

Christmas is coming. That’s why Twitch Streamer Drew Binuesa raised funds to help him buy toys for those children who’re not able to celebrate christmas. Bienusa raised thousands of dollars from playing and live streaming on the Twitch platform. He will use his earnings for the Toys and Tots drive.

Drew Binuesa didn’t expect that he was able to raise that kind of money at first. He was expecting a goal of thousand dollars on his first stream and was so shocked when he hit the goal. 

His idea came from his friend on twitter when he saw his tweet saying; “To hold a fundraiser within his streaming community and then use that money to buy a bunch of toys to donate.” Binuesa found it great and decided to do the same.

He raised $3,300 on his live streaming and started buying gifts last December 1st with his father who is a teacher which makes him a perfect shopping partner because he has knowledge on what other kids like and are interested in. They bought sports stuff, Minecraft-related toys and Fortnite-related items.

Binuesa coordinated with the Sauk Rapids Fire Department Toys for Tots drive who annually holds this kind of event. They were also surprised with the effort that was given by the Twitch Streamer and thanked him because of the large donation he gave.
