Dr Disrespect Speaks About Issues In Elden Ring

While Dr Disrespect has subsequently changed his mind about Elden Ring after his initial criticism, the two-time still believes the FromSoftware title is far from perfect.

Since the highly anticipated Elden Ring eventually released to record-breaking fanfare, Dr Disrespect has been one of many who have ventured into The Lands Between. Despite the fact that the YouTube sensation was enraged after his first run, Doc has returned for more with each subsequent stream. He’s certainly taken to Elden Ring’s grueling gaming cycle, claiming to be the “best Elden Ring player” out there. Despite the fact that he feels much better about it after a few dozen hours, it still falls short of his expectations despite near-unanimous critical acclaim.

Despite his enthusiasm for the overall direction, Doc believes that Elden Ring falls short of being a really faultless experience. Doc originally gave the game a 6/10 rating during its first week, praising not only the general grind, but also Elden Ring’s “terrible” camera. However, when asked if his initial score had changed, the two-time had a lot more to say. Doc gushed about the game’s design, both in terms of specific adversaries and the general universe. He was also enthralled by Elden Ring’s immensely customizable fighting.

He said; “I haven’t even begun to explore other possibilities with my character yet.”

He has a lot more options now that he has mostly kept to a melee-focused build. His outlook is significantly more favorable now that his rating has risen to a “8.8” or “8.9.” Despite the better score, Doc is puzzled by the near-unanimous acclaim because of a few evident flaws that hampered his experience.

He explained, “There’s a lot of third-person camera stuff going on that I don’t like. I don’t want my camera to go through the bodies of creatures. It seems like we spend a lot of time seeing that stuff when we’re fighting bosses. How can they fix that? I don’t know, I’ve heard third-person camera design is tough.”

Doc also thinks Elden Ring’s menus, as well as the game’s main control method, may be clumsy at times. Both methods upset him, he claims, and he claims it’s “something you have to get used to.” Doc’s Elden Ring rating has only risen as he’s played more, so there’s still a potential he’ll go even higher in the days and weeks ahead.
