Disguised Toast And Ludwig Gain Support

Disguised Toast and Ludwig considered staging a Twitch vs. YouTube boxing match after seeing the success of iDubbbz’s Creator Clash, and the idea is gaining steam on social media.

These days, influencer boxing is all the rage. It all started in 2018 as a way to end a dispute between Logan Paul and KSI, which was followed by a rematch in 2019. It’s grown into something more since then. Former mixed-martial-arts champions Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley have faced Jake Paul. Logan Paul went the distance against boxing icon Floyd Mayweather, which no one expected to happen. Despite its growth, grassroots influencer boxing is still alive and well, as proven by the success of YouTube vs. TikTok Battle of the Platforms and now the charity iDubbbz’s Creator Clash.

In light of this, Disguised Toast and Ludwig Ahgren, two streamers noted for their creativity, considered staging their own influencer boxing tournament, pitting Twitch streamers against YouTube streamers. Toast was the one who came up with the concept. He said; “Yo Ludwig, boxing event next year? Twitch streamers vs. YouTube streamers.”

Ludwig replied almost instantly; “Make it happen! We’re going to destroy you guys!”

He also proposed a fight between Sykkuno, who recently switched from Twitch to YouTube, and Hasan, despite the fact that it’s a mismatch. Hasan commended and stated, “I would never be able to punch this man,” after seeing his name thrown into the hat and imagining himself throwing punches at one of the world’s most laid-back and likable streamers.

Fans also proposed xQc vs. PewDiePie, Pokimane vs. Valkyrae, NICKMERCS vs. TimTheTatman, Dr Disrespect vs. Esfand, and a slew of other fight card pairings. The options are limitless.

It’s still just a fascinating concept at this point. Toast and Ludwig, on the other hand, seeded the seed, and given their proclivity for pushing the boundaries of content, it has the potential to bloom into something bigger. Influencer boxing has progressed significantly. However, there’s something unique about witnessing your favorite streamers wear their gloves and battle it out in the squared circle for a good cause.
