DAZN Launching Linear TV Channel

DAZN is an English over-the-top sports streaming service. The channel holds live and on-demand coverage of activities from different properties. DAZN was released in Austria for the first time. It was released in the United States and Italy in 2018.

DAZN believes that its software is the best way to do something for a connection, since two linear sources cannot support the diverse range of sports broadcasts and on-demand media.

Inevitably there are extra costs involved with the service of a TV station, such as the editing and procurement of transmit antennas in the electronic scheduling guideline (EPG), considered as one of the drawbacks. DAZN still has little insight as to who is watching the features and what they are viewing. Far from suitable for a data-driven company, it’s still a compromise that DAZN is willing to make for the moment.
