Content Creator of the Year award

From streamers, professionals, and casual gamers, the Game Awards 2021 delivered a number of deserving and deserving wins. However, Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo, a popular streamer, has shared his thoughts on the award show and suggested a few deserving individuals. He also highlighted who he believes failed to live up to the Content Creator of the Year winner’s name.

Mizkif studied a handful of the other prospective candidates for this award on a Twitch stream and brought them into the spotlight. Fans of The Game Award were apparently dissatisfied with some of the results as well, lending credence to Mizkif’s claims. He stated; “I think Lud (Ludwig) deserves it more than Dream. I would totally say that. Lud absolutely killed it this year.”

Dream, a popular Minecraft streamer, was named the best Content Creator of 2021, an award that many believe should have gone to someone else, as Mizkif reveals above. Jerma, GreekGodX, and others are among the candidates in Mizkif’s mind. Dream should not have won the prize, according to Mizkif and a big portion of the gaming community, because of his tendency of fostering a toxic fan-to-streamer interaction. Dream advised the haters to “keep on hating” when he was doubted but still won.

The fans are unhappy. After some alleged he tricked his way into Minecraft, Dream’s content and attitude toward the business should have ruled him out of contention. While the charge may be true at best, it leaves gamers with an uneasy sense.

Mizkif has significant influence across the streaming community, and others are starting to notice. The award cannot be canceled or given to any other streamers, but it is an interesting detail that could have an impact on The Game Awards 2021.
