Coinbase Presents PogChamps 4

PogChamps 4 sponsored by Coinbase will begin on August 29th. The next installment of the smash-hit series returns with the largest, greatest, and brightest PogChamps. Its prize pool is $100,000, and Chess.com will match up to $100,000 in community donations to Rise Above the Disorder, a nonprofit devoted to making mental health treatment more accessible and affordable.

PogChamps 3 smashed records in February 2021, with over 140,000 concurrent viewers and 16,000,000 total views during the event—and that’s just on Twitch. These staggering numbers are only a taste of what PogChamps 4 has in store.

MrBeast, whose extraordinary ability to create massively viral content on a consistent basis is another of the event’s main attractions. MrBeast is sure to bring the wrath of his fans to whoever stands in his way, with over 63 million YouTube subscribers and 11 billion views.

Both stars have previously appeared in PogChamps 3. MrBeast wasn’t ready to let up just yet, despite Ludwig’s victory. Will he receive a rematch after threatening vengeance in front of tens of thousands of viewers?

Rubius, a Spanish streaming phenomenon with almost 10 million Twitch followers, the third-most in the world, is also returning to the fold. He also has a YouTube following of 40 million people. IAmCristinini, a popular Spanish streamer with 2.3 million Twitch followers, who will be joining Rubius. She has the highest number of followers of any Spanish-speaking female streamer, and she is ranked #8 in Spanish content overall.

Sapnap, who competed in the record-breaking event BlockChamps, enters for his first PogChamps run, supported by his 2.5 million Twitch admirers, and with ConnorEatsPants rounding out the current field, there will be many more competitors to be announced!

The event’s participation isn’t the only highlight. All of Chess.com’s best presenters and commentators will be back to call the action, led by WFM Alexandra Botez and Andrea Botez, who have more than 850,000 Twitch followers at BotezLive.
