Asmongold Refuses To Stream WoW Classic

Asmongold is a huge fan of WoW Classic, but he refuses to stream raids on Twitch owing to the ‘hostility’ of the community, which he claims makes it “not really fun” to generate content for. 

WoW Classic, according to Asmon, is one of the main reasons why the game continues to thrive after all these years. Because of the nostalgia they give, he also believes that the expansions will always be appealing to veteran gamers. However, despite his willingness to stream it on Twitch, he refuses to participate in live raids. His fans were naturally curious to hear the reason why. On January 18, he finally revealed the truth.

Asmongold has stated; “WoW Classic raids aren’t really that fun to stream. The community around them is not really fun to make content for. Everybody thinks they know what they’re talking about. They always have their opinion on what you should be doing. It’s a hostile community.”

Because the raids are such an important aspect of the game, Asmon also stated that streamers who only play the game will undoubtedly need to stream the raids for content. He doesn’t feel compelled to do it because he isn’t one of them. He said; “I don’t have to do that. So, why would I willingly invest myself in playing something that is annoying and just makes me mad? If you have the option to not do that, why would you do it?”

Asmon is known for ruling raids with an iron fist when he does. He will not only refuse to do things with random people, but he will also kick incompetent players without hesitation. According to him, the advent of flying mounts to World PvP is a wonderful thing, and he criticized WoW gamers who believe that it is a bad thing. Even though he no longer does raids on streams, he still has a strong desire to do so.
