Asmongold May Return To Final Fantasy XIV

After a long hiatus from the game, MMO Twitch star Zack “Asmongold” has finally stated when he expects to return to Final Fantasy XIV.

Asmongold, a Twitch streamer, has been a busy bee in recent months, rising up the rankings with his Elden Ring and Lost Ark playthroughs. Before all of that, there was Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XIV, where Asmongold spent the most of his time. Not only that, but the online MMO’s player base and overall popularity grew dramatically as a result of his streams. Even though the streamer’s focus has been on Elden Ring and the Lost Ark, fans have pleaded with him to return to Eorzea.  

Now, it appears that his comeback to Final Fantasy XIV may be closer than we expected.

Asmongold’s initial break came through his World of Warcraft playthroughs. His journey with Final Fantasy XIV began in July 2021, but it was his Final Fantasy XIV livestream that truly got things started for him. It wasn’t long before his playthroughs of the game drew hundreds of millions of viewers on his streams. Asmongold had to defend himself from FFXIV “purists” who said he wasn’t a “real player” because he didn’t really like the game as time went on, and he had to defend himself from FFXIV “purists” who claimed he wasn’t a “real player” because he didn’t really like the game. 

Asmongold, on the other hand, disputed any such accusations, claiming that he had other titles he wanted to focus on first, including Lost Ark, World of Warcraft, and Elden Ring. 

For the Twitch streamer, WoW was not a pleasant experience, and he became progressively irritated with the MMORPG. His Elden Ring playthroughs, on the other hand, were extremely popular, with Asmongold averaging over one million views per stream. Not only that, but he ended up really enjoying the fantasy role-playing game, calling it “one of the best games” he’d ever played. 

Old-school Asmongold fans were overjoyed to find that the streamer intends to return to Final Fantasy XIV in the future.  

Laying out his strategy for his future content in a new YouTube video, Asmongold said: “This is what my overall plan with FFXIV is. I’m going to probably do the FFXIV main scenario quests a little while after they release the next WoW expansion announcement.”
