Asmongold Is Open Into Doing A One-off VTuber Stream

After Ironmouse encouraged him and announced that his avatar will be inspired by Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street, Asmongold agreed he’d be open to conducting a one-off VTuber stream.

Asmon has a reputation for disliking the VTubing community, maybe as a result of some of his more recent comments. He insists, though, that the reputation isn’t entirely accurate, and he has even spoken warmly about several areas of the Vtuber community. 

Asmongold stated; “People got this idea that I hate VTubing. I don’t know where people got this idea. I do not hate VTubing. I think that it’s funny, I think that it’s clever, and I think that it’s a hack for female streamers.”

He proved this by performing a crossover broadcast with Ironmouse, one of Twitch’s most popular VTubers, and admitting that he’d consider being a VTuber for a day after she encouraged him. 

“I think you should become a VTuber for a day,” Ironmouse remarked during their joint stream, cutting to the chase. He unexpectedly admitted he would, saying; “I would use a VTuber avatar. Sure. Yeah, that would be okay. Like, actually no memes. No bullsh*t. Whatever. I would do it for a day. Why not?”

He mentioned his VTuber character and avatar would be something along the lines of a muppet. “You know the guy in Sesame Street that lives in the garbage can? Oscar the Grouch? I think I’d use that as inspiration.” 

Asmon later questioned Ironmouse if she believes male VTubers can be successful, given that the most popular ones appear to be female. She reassured him that it was possible and even gave him some advise. She said; “Yeah. Especially now. I feel like male VTubers are the hot thing right now. You could totally be a sexy YouTuber demon guy or a sexy cat boy.”
