Apex Legends Allegedly Makes Wraith Less Popular

According to NRG’s Brandon ‘AceU’ Win, the upcoming Apex Legends character is terrible news for Wraith, as the ‘Interdimensional Skirmisher’ won’t be used for much longer.

Since Respawn’s battle royale debuted over two years ago, Wraith has been the go-to character for Apex Legends. She’s always been quite powerful, and her quickness makes her ideal for players that want to get into fights but also want to run out when things become bad. She, like every other legend, has been subjected to changes over time, and while some players have begun to experiment with different legends, they usually return to the Interdimensional Skirmisher. That, according to Aceu, might all change when Season 11 arrives.

During his September 29th broadcast, the former CS:GO pro turned content creator was talking with viewers as he began to make his way into a new game after being punished by a Wraith and her teammates in the previous on Given the “x-ray meta” that has taken over Apex, he joked that Wraith should be able to get a heads up on players behind barriers, then quickly moved on to discussing the character’s future.

Here’s what he stated; “Dude, I’m telling you… I can’t wait for you guys to see the next legend. Wraith is actually never going to be played.”

Fans who were not satisfied with the small teaser pressed the streamer for more information, while others claimed he was simply mocking them and giving them what they wanted to hear.

Nevertheless, unlike prior seasons, there has been no firm information about the new legend to date, so we’ll have to wait and see if Aceu’s predictions are correct.
