Adin Ross Take On Genders

Popular Twitch streamer Adin Ross is the subject of a heated dispute after making debatable remarks about gender. Ross recently said in a tweet that he thought there were only two genders, which infuriated and outraged both viewers and other streamers. 

It’s important to note that the comment was made in response to his being suspended from Twitch after making a related claim. Thereafter, he used his Twitter account to express his continued conviction that there are only two genders. Famous streamers like Felix “xQc” and Hasan “HasanAbi” voiced their opinions on the subject, with some upholding Ross’ right to free expression and others denouncing his words as hurtful and detrimental. One person said: “Even if you use science I’m pretty sure you’re wrong in every way.” 

The discussion about gender and the gender system has persisted for a long time in the online community. Adin’s most recent viewpoint on the matter has stoked further flames in this ongoing argument. His opinions on gender have elicited a wide spectrum of responses from users online, with some passionately agreeing and others strongly objecting. 

HasanAbi, a fellow Twitch streamer, stated on his official Twitter account that many internet figures have used a similar argument when they’re up against the wall: “anytime a media personality is falling off they think this is their parachute cord.”

The response from xQc wasn’t as detailed as those of many others. When the Canadian internet star heard Adin’s perspective on gender, she said: “Jesus, man! Jesus!”
