Adept Breaks Down Crying

Adept and xQc have had a hectic year in 2021. The renowned couple has made headlines on a regular basis since their love became public, followed by their breakup, and then their reconciliation in September.

Off-camera, however, the two were dealing with considerably more serious and life-threatening issues.

Adept broke down in tears during a recent stream when discussing how difficult the past several months had been for her and xQc, as the two battled Twitch stalkers. She said that they had to move houses a couple of times because they were continuously bombarded by Twitch fans who came to their house to meet their stars in person. She stated; “I’m so stressed out, I’m so unhappy, I’m scared every day about what’s going to go wrong, every day. It felt like something was going wrong every day.”

xQc and Adept were subjected to a fan armed with a crowbar invading their home to meet the streamers on one particularly terrifying occasion. This was followed by a slew of swatting episodes, which frequently disrupted xQc’s streams at the time. While Adept avoided streaming and publishing videos during that time, xQc kept the streams going as much as possible. They even spent some time with their friend Sodapoppin’, whom they ran again again at the Sh*tcamp event.

However, things appear to be looking up for Adept and xQc, since they have been feeling much better since meeting up with their buddies at Sh*tcamp.

Adept said; “It just made me so happy being able to see all my friends again and hanging out with them in a new environment. I felt safe, and I felt happy. We actually got to see them, because we did have to move away.”

Furthermore, xQc and Adept have switched residences again, and the stalker problem appears to be resolved for the time being, which has greatly eased the streamers. While Adept admitted that they aren’t completely at ease, the situation isn’t as awful as it was a few months ago.
