Twitch Goes Over 1.7 Billion Hours Watched In November 2020

According to StreamElements’ report for the month of November 2020, streaming platforms have hit new milestones. StreamElements‘ analytics partner Arsenal.gg showed that Facebook Gaming dipped slightly in its overall viewership, but still managed to stay over the 300 million hours watched threshold regardless of the numbers dipping. Facebook has still shown a 100-percent year-over-year increase in viewership from November 2019.

The Amazon owned streaming platform Twitch, marked 1.7 billion hours watched in the month of November. It was with the help of another increase in viewership for the platform’s Just Chatting category which became the top category on Twitch in May.

Stream Charts previously reported that streamers such as Gaules, HasanAbi, and xQc took the top three titles of the most-watched streamers for November. Gaules had around 16.2 million hours watched while HasanAbi and xQc rounded out the top three with both pulling in around 14.5 million hours watched. Arsenal.gg noted that the Beauty and Body Art category showed some incredible growth with only 32,000 hours watched in November 2019 to over 117,000 in November 2020.
