1.5 Million Accounts Banned By PUBG

Tencent is trying to stop cheaters on PUBG Mobile. PUBG Mobile has its own anti-cheat system that doesn’t allow cheats but it seems that there’s been a record of 1.5 million players banned between December 4th to 10th due to cheating.

‘Free for all games’ are the main targets of cheaters because they won’t lose anything even if their account is banned because they can just create a new account. 24% of the cheats come from the x-ray cheat which is the cheater that can see through the walls.

The top 2 cheats are the auto-aim and xray hack. It holds 50% of the cheats recorded according to PUBG Mobile.

The other cheaters used speed hacks (16%), area damage modification (10%), and character model mods (7%). “Other” cheats made up the remaining 17% of hackers.

While the majority of hacks are usually found at lower levels, PUBG Mobile players are extremely aggravated by cheaters at all competitive levels. Tencent shared the distribution of cheaters throughout the ranks from December 4th to December 10th:

  • Conqueror: 2%
  • Ace: 8%
  • Crown: 12%
  • Diamond: 14%
  • Platinum: 13%
  • Gold: 11%
  • Silver: 11%
  • Bronze: 29%
